About me

I am a documentary photographer with a wide range of diverse approaches and a passionate interest in the best and the worst of the human condition.

I studied architecture in the 1960s in my home city of Birmingham and lived and worked in southern Spain in the 1970s. I have lived in Bristol since 1979 where I worked for many years in the housing and community sector. I obtained an MA in documentary photography from the University of Wales Newport in 2004.

Commissioned projects includes work for architects, artists, musicians, horticultural publishers, charities and community sector organisations.

I  have self-published seven books of my photographs and details of these can be seen in ‘Photobooks’. My latest book ‘In-between Lands’ was published in October 2016 and is a study of a journey through Mexico and Guatemala  in 2015.
