Two Cities Experiencing and documenting the extreme contrasts between different urban environments can be an enlightening and enjoyable experience. The highly organised people of Denmark were immersed in the pre-Christmas euphoria when I visited Copenhagen in late November 2004. Sixteen days later I was in Delhi where the sense of chaos, which seems to lie so close to the surface, is somehow kept in balance by the people's ancient systems of belief and values.
