I am a documentary photographer based in Bristol, UK with a wide range of experience. My approach to photography is both varied and eclectic, as can be seen through my web site. I studied Architecture in the 1960s and have worked in the social housing and community sector in the UK. Commercial projects include work for architects and artists. I am also engaged in studio portraiture as well as covering events and providing images for publications in the community and corporate sectors. Many of the images seen here are the result of projects undertaken in the UK and abroad. These include my recent book 'Waiting to Go', which was produced in connection with my MA course in Documentary Photography. The images taken on my return visit to the city of Bhopal in central India in 2004, site of the world's worst industrial disaster, which can viewed here, reflect my interest and commitment to environmental issues. I welcome enquiries from prospective clients and am always interested to hear from artists and photographers who have ideas for collaborative projects.
